Through coordination with our sister company, Anesthesia Business Consulting, the largest physician billing company specializing exclusively in the practice of anesthesia and pain management, utilizing F1RSTAnesthesia, their proprietary powerful, flexible data management process, ABC provides:

Collection specialists review patient accounts and continually follow-up to resolve outstanding balances, resulting in improved collections. Additional services include electronic claims processing, payor reporting, A/R reporting, certified coding and compliance management.

• - Certified coding consultants will review a client’s procedures involving billing and coding compliance, as well as offer educational assistance to achieve optimal reimbursement. ABC’s medical record coding compliance audits ensure that clients are in compliance with regulations.

Accounting and Financial Reporting

• - Standard and customized reporting capabilities for its clients. Services include daily cash flow reporting, accrual or cash basis reporting, revenue analysis, A/R analysis and metrics, provider production reporting/analysis, and case data analysis.
• - Customized, comprehensive data analytics and reporting capabilities, featuring OR utilization data and OR benchmarking.

Payroll and Accounts Payable Management

• - Consultants provide day-to-day management of payroll and accounts payable functions. Accounting staff will set up client ledgers, manage bills and payments, complete monthly bank statement reconciliation and general ledger account analysis, automated payroll processing, and cash posting services.

Information Systems Management

• - Ability to integrate and support different information systems, dependent upon client needs, and to mine and analyze the data to support strategic decisions. In addition, ABC also offers (through its affiliated entity) AIMS and EHR solutions.

Facility Credentialing

• - Complete facility credentialing services. ABC maintains provider-specific databases to facilitate this process and to alert providers of ongoing requirements such as license renewals and required vaccinations.

Hospital/Payer Negotiations

• - Assists clients in the development of detailed staffing models and supporting financial data in support of hospital stipend negotiations. ABC mines its practice data to enable its clients to support more esoteric staffing requirements such as late case and weekend coverages. ABC also mines its data to support ABC in negotiations with commercial payers.

Staffing

• - Staffing modeling to optimize OR efficiency and anesthesia revenue.
• - Consulting services for staffing compensation and methodology for anesthesia needs and contracts.

Scheduling

• - ABC assists hospitals/practices in optimizing schedules to minimize lost revenue and reduce payroll expense by minimizing overtime and locum use. ABC assesses scheduling issues with detailed data analysis, on-site observations and staff interviews.

Consulting Services & Risk Management

• - ABC provides a wide range of consulting services, including cost containment, perioperative, OR, facilities evaluation, new facility startup planning, facility credentialing, as well as hospital department and medical practices reviews.

Locum Coverage

• - We work with a number of national locum agencies to source a talented pool of MDs and CRNAs in order to provide staffing services to its clients.

Human Resources

• - ABC facilitates HR support for its clients including benefits negotiating and management, P&P development and disciplinary programs.
• - ABC facilitates recruiting for MDs, CRNAs, NPs/PAs and RNs.
