The Anesthesia Business Consultants' (ABC) affiliate company Plexus Technology Group, LLC (Plexus TG), a fully KLAS-rated and trusted anesthesia information management systems (AIMS) partner, was chosen by Reston Anesthesia Associates, P.C., Stonesprings Anesthesia Associates, LTD and Outpatient Anesthesia Services of Reston to install their anesthesia documentation solution in two acute care hospitals and one surgery center located in the D.C. metro area. The HCA healthcare facilities where they plan to integrate with Plexus TG’s anesthesia electronic recordkeeping system include Reston Hospital and Reston Surgery Center in Reston, VA, and StoneSprings Hospital Center located in Dulles, VA. Together these three anesthesia groups, comprised of fifty providers, selected Plexus TG over other vendors because of their expertise integrating with MEDITECH’s electronic medical record (EMR) and their ability to interface with the group’s billing platform.

The Reston, VA, consortium was looking for a mobile electronic anesthesia management system that would simplify the documentation process and provide their clinicians with access to surgery schedules and patient demographics. With Plexus TG’s comprehensive solution, Anesthesia Touch™, they found an intuitive, easy-to-use system with proven interoperability with their hospital’s MEDITECH system. In addition, Anesthesia Touch will streamline their billing process by electronically delivering complete documentation to the billing office. The billing integration will save time and increase efficiency with more complete diagnosis documentation, built-in smart reminders to prevent missing case data and electronic record transfer.
